The Future Panhandle Division in N Scale

The future Panhandle will be a medium sized, multi-operator layout constructed in an around the wall format using two levels. There will be two staging yards, one at each end of the layout to represent the eastern and western train terminals. In the east, the staging presents Mingo Jct, Conway, Pitcairn, and beyond. The western staging yard represents Columbus, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Chicago, and beyond.

The following are locations, industries, or scenes I wish to model. The trackplan will follow the prototype at Acre, Cadiz Jct, Custer, and Morgan Run. All other locations will be compressed approximations with some industries or yard trackage omitted. The layout will be operated in a prototypical manner using digital cab control. The towers at Acre, Custer, Morgan Run, and Bricker will control movements of trains and remotely set turnouts along the main. All industry and yards tracks will be manual operation.
